Faith, Fun, and Friends
It’s all about connection…
Gander Brook seeks to build faith in kids through well-supervised fun and meaningful activities.
Established in 1956, the camp invites kids to take a break from electronics and screens to discover the joys of outdoor adventure, the challenges of learning new skills, and the experiences of growing closer to God and each other by being immersed in nature.
Campers aged 8 to 18 stay in clean well-ventilated cabins illuminated by battery powered lanterns. Boys’ and girl’s shower houses with electric lights, toilets, and hot water are centrally located to each cabin area. The kitchen serves locally grown vegetables and camp favorites.
Gander Brook is affiliated with the churches of Christ, a biblically-based nondenominational church, open to all. The camp offers hospitality to a wide range of campers from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Eastern Massachusetts and beyond.
Our counselors are carefully selected and trained Christlike university students from all over the country who are deeply committed to the camp’s mission. The same counselors work for the whole summer. We keep a ratio of 1 counselor to 6 campers or better.
